An unusual shaped American early 1940s hat.

Made from a fine straw raffia type of material.
Features large shaped high crown with wide brim which is edged in fine horse hair.
Lovely flowers decorate the side and back.
Its in fair but wearable with care condition. The brim has started to come away from the brim so probably would repair with a few stitches to make it fully secure. There is fraying to the horse hair edge. There has been glue repairs to the crown.
Sold as is. To restore or display.
