1940s American Suit In Small Navy & White Houndstooth Check B40 W28 H40
Beautiful American suit dating from the 1940s
Label - none
Made from a fine gabardine wool in a navy and white tiny houndstooth check design
Features large pointed lapel collar which is edged in navy blue
Strong padded shoulders
Covered buttons down the front which match the pocket flaps at either side
Fully lined
The skirt is high waisted and Aline shaped with metal side zip
Unlined
In very good condition with a few minor tiny flaws to note. Tiny repair stitch on the back shoulder. Minor discolouration around the buttons. A rust coloured mark on the inside collar and at the very top of the skirt waist band. A couple of teeth are missing on the zip but it still works but a little stiff so might need replacing at some point.
