1930s Sheer Chiffon Crepe Day Dress 16/18 UK
Gorgeous original 1930s Day dress
Very rare larger size!
Made from a sheer chiffon crepe fabric printed with blue bamboo leaves.
The bodice has pleating down the front with small pointed collar and bow.
Huge fluted sleeves.
Original belt.
Skims across the hips with two large inverted pleats at the front.
Opens at the neckline and side seam with press studs.
CONDITION
Very good and wearable condition the fabric is good and strong. One sleeve has been hand sewn around the seam and hangs slightly differently to the other but looks fine and doesn’t notice. Tiny amount of yellowing to the fabric on the collar and a small red mark just under the bow.
Small hole in the back shoulder.
The fabric around the belt buckle is starting to fray at the edges slightly see pic. Slight yellowing to the fabric on the belt.
