Late 1930s Black Silk Velvet Evening Gown With Diamantes & Ruffle Front
A beautiful evening gown dating from the late 1930s.
Handmade from a black silk velvet fabric.
Cut on the bias the dress features high rounded neckline with large round collar at the front and back and is covered in rhinestones. There is a large frill in a V shape from the bustline to the waist.
Small sleeves and metal side zip.
slightly longer at the back than the front - small train effect.
In good condition. Some of the rhinestones are loose and need securing.
