Gorgeous American skirt dating from the 1940/50s era.

Very unusual design as its made from a medium weight soft cotton blend print either handkerchiefs or bandanas? Each one has been machine sewn together forming the skirt.
Each piece has ‘ Guaranteed Fast Color ’ Stamped
Gathered at the waistband with belt loops.
Flared shape.
Side opening with hook and eye fastener and press stud.
