1940s American Black Linen Dress With Silver Beading Detail Bust 36” waist 28”
A gorgeous American dress dating from the 1940s.
Label - Paula Brooks Original
Made from a heavy weight black rayon linen fabric.
Features rounded collar with three covered buttons down to the waist.
Short sleeves with turned back cuffs with button detail.
Metal side zipper and original belt.
There is a large decorative silver bead design just above the left bust which matches and large beaded tab on the left hip.
Aline skirt.
In very good condition with light wear to the coating on the beads. Small hole in the back of the collar and some loose seam stitching on the waist.

Shoulder to waist seam 14”
Waist 27/28”
Hip 38”
Length 41” with 3” hem to let down.
